Kia ora!

Hope you’re all doing great and having a good week so far. What a mix of weather we’ve been having lately, hot, cold, rain, then straight back to hot again. Easter is right around the corner, which is why this issue is packed with Easter events, so a happy Easter from me for those who celebrate it. Slightly shorter issue this week as a few events have been delayed or cancelled due to the weather.

Also, if you could please fill out the survey below, that would be hugely appreciated. It’ll really help me understand The Bagel audience better so I can make sure the events and advertisements are more relevant to you. It takes less than five minutes, so if you’ve been enjoying the Bagel so far, that’s all I ask of you 👇

Enjoy this week’s issue 🥯

👀 Did you know? 👀

A lake once killed over 1,700 people without warning.

It sounds like something straight out of a horror movie, but it’s not. In 1986, a lake in Cameroon suddenly released a massive cloud of gas that silently spread through nearby villages. People and animals collapsed within minutes, with no explosion, no lava, just the air turning deadly.
