Play-Doh was originally invented as wallpaper cleaner.
Yep, the iconic toy was first sold as a cleaning compound designed to remove soot from wallpaper. When cleaner heating made the product less useful, it was repurposed as a children’s modelling toy, eventually becoming Play-Doh.
