Kia ora!
This is officially the longest issue of The Bagel ever!
There’s so much happening this week and next week it’s borderline overwhelming. Let’s just hope the weather holds up so you can actually enjoy it all.
We’ve also got a full lunar eclipse coming up as well. The Moon is literally turning red next week. How cool is that?!
Anyways, enough waffling from me.
Enjoy this week’s issue 🥯

👀 Did you know? 👀
On the night of March 3rd 2026 and into the early hours of the 4th, New Zealand will witness a total lunar eclipse. We’re one of the only countries in the world that will see the entire eclipse from start to finish.
It’s the only total lunar eclipse of 2026. The next one won’t be until 2028.
During a total lunar eclipse, Earth moves directly between the Sun and the Moon, turning it red, commonly known as a “Blood Moon.” It’s completely safe to view and lasts several hours.
Best viewing time will be around midnight, with peak totality at 12:33AM.
